First session of 12th National Assembly scheduled for July 19

VietNamNet Bridge – The National Assembly Office has decided to convene the first session of the 12th National Assembly on July 19, 2007. The session will focus on the organisation and personnel of state agencies. The National Assembly will perform necessary formalities for the new National Assembly, including reporting the results of the 12th National Assembly election, verification of the conduct of National Assembly deputies and approving the resolution of National Assembly deputy conduct. The National Assembly will also consider and ratify some important issues, such as the implementation of the missions and state budget estimates for the first half of 2007, solutions to successfully implement the missions of the second half of 2007, and listening to reports of the 11th National Assembly Standing Committee.
